Ricky's to the Halloween Rescue

Mom confession: when it's Monday and you realize that Halloween is less than a week away, you maybe panic a little bit. Now, I'll admit that I put the holiday on the back burner because I'm usually distracted by the girls' birthdays the first half of the month, but I usually don't blow it off QUITE to this degree. And while I would love to be all DIY and create a pirate captain's costume out of an old sheet & some aluminum foil, well, it's just not happening this year. Take that, Pinterest!

Instead, I high tailed it to Ricky's, because let's face it, they're famous for Halloween. Sure, the NYC-based chain sells all sorts of cool beauty & hair products, too, but this time of year, it's all about the boo-fest. And with locations all over the city, a Ricky's is easy to find. Now, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect when it comes to their children's costumes, since their adult line up has "sexy" in most descriptions, but lucky for us, there were tons of fun & completely age-appropriate costumes to choose from. Hurrah! We were in & out in 10 minutes, & I've got one super excited Super Girl & Dorothy ready for Candy Fest on Saturday. Done & done!

Disclosure: Ricky's provided me with costumes to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.
