To All Who Get Their Holiday Cards Out On Time: This Is Not For You

I talk a big game. Every year, the Christmas spirit takes hold and I manage to mark everything off the list... tree trimming, decorating a ginger bread house, making Christmas cookies, a visit to Santa, a festive concert of some sort. Christmas carols on repeat. Windows along Fifth Avenue. And every year, I promise to get our holiday cards out on time.

BLERG. It hasn't happened for the last few years, and it's about time to just embrace my belated-ness and move on. After all, being a HAPPY NEW YEAR family is pretty darn festive, too, right? A new year is so ripe with possibility... I love just thinking about the improvements I'll make (whether they actually come true is another story) and the adventures we'll have. There is something exciting about the unknown. And in this turbulent world we live in, I simply must dwell on the positive, endless possibilities out there.

With that said, I'd love to introduce the Happy New Year collection by Artifact Uprising. I love this site in general (gorgeous photo books, framing, prints, calendars, etc are available) but their Happy New Year cards are something special. Printed on premium quality, 100% recycled paper, I just love their clean, fresh, simple aesthetic & the phrases chosen to adorn the collection. Take a look at some of my favorites in this post....

Now comes the hard part, of course... finding the perfect photo! In the end, though, it's all good. Here's to the fresh, new possibilities out there, with a little kick start from Artifact Uprising. I'll be posting on IG when our cards arrive!

All that's unwritten, be it bright.

Happy Holidays, friends...
