We headed out on the town Saturday night to the 17th annual MOMA Family Festival at the Museum of Modern Art. A members-only event, the festival invited families to explore & enjoy the Museum's galleries after it closes to the general public. With craft projects on every floor, story times in the bookstore, cookie decorating stations, a yummy dessert bar, a dress up photo booth & DJ rocking cool tunes, sufficed to say.... we had a blast!
The perks of the MOMA Family Pass don't stop there. The Museum maintains a robust calendar throughout the year with children in mind, with daily classes in the Art Lab & popular weekend activities: "Tours for Fours" (for 4 year olds, obviously), "A Closer Look for Kids" (ages 5-10 & adult) & "Tours for Tweens" (ages 11-14 & adult). Family film screenings (we love when they show them outdoors in the sculpture garden!), special member previews & guest passes for $5 are additional perks.
An annual Family membership is $175 ($139 tax deductible). See HERE for more info. Worth checking out!
